Screening of G.H.O.S.T. Ride by Cannupa Hanska Luger

Conceived as part of his multifaceted, nomadic project for Desert X 2025, this short film follows the G.H.O.S.T. Riders—a family from an undefined future traversing the desert. Their time-jumping caravan, also on view as an installation in Desert X 2025, is constructed from industrial detritus and outfitted with water and light-gathering systems. G.H.O.S.T. Ride proposes a vision for future survival, as the family applies innovative Indigenous technologies to live sustainably and in harmony with the environment.
