The trip to Guadalajara will revolve around Pre-Maco, a preview of Zona Maco and private visits to the most outstanding contemporary art spaces in Guadalajara.

Private visits to the top contemporary art and design galleries such as Curro, Páramo, Travesía Cuatro at Casa Franco centered around the representation of Spanish and Mexican artists, in the Casa Franco, a home designed by Guadalajara-born architect Luis Barragán.
ARTIST STUDIO VISITS
A curated selection of visits to the studios of the most relevant artists in the contemporary art scene in Guadalajara such as Eduardo Sarabia, Ghada Amer, and Cerámica Suro with José Noé Suro, José Davila, Gabriel Rico, among others.
MUSEUMS AND CULTURAL INSTITUTIONS
– Museo de Arte de Zapopan, contemporary art museum located in the Historic Center.
– Hospicio Cabañas considered some of the masterpieces of Mexican art including the work of José Clemente Orozco, one of the greatest Mexican muralists of the period.
– Luis Barragán’s architectural works such as Casa Cristo, Templo del Calvario inspired by the long sunsets of the Jalisco haciendas with profound elements of the Arab world.
CULINARY EXPERIENCES at the most sought restaurants and bars such as La Docena Oyster Bar & Grill, Restaurante Alcalde named as One to Watch in 2016 before ranking as the Highest New Entry in 2017’s Latin America’s 50 Best, La Latina, La Panga del Impostor, Gaspar Bistro, Suheiro and other prestigious restaurants in Guadalajara.
SPECIAL DAY TRIP TO TEQUILA JALISCO hosted by Mexican collector Juan Domingo Beckman and the Cuervo family for the annual signature outdoor cocktail event located in the middle of the tequila agaves.

Zona Maco, the largest art fair platform in Latin America, the satellite art fairs of Salón Acme at the historical venue of Prim, Material Art Fair (to be confirmed).
